New windows and doors improve comfort, cut energy bills and add long-term value to your home. Hale Windows Los Angeles pairs proven product lines with our own installing crews for lasting performance - and a price we put in writing.
Choose your installer
The unit is half the job - the install is the other half. Our own background-checked crews measure, set, seal and insulate every opening, and they know the lines we quote inside and out because they install them every week.

Meet the Los Angeles Team Behind Hale Windows Los Angeles
If you call Hale Windows Los Angeles, you’re not getting a rotating cast of subcontractors. You’re getting a small, named crew that has worked together long enough to read each other’s hand signals from across a room. We’re independently owned and operated, part of the Threshold Group, and every person who shows up at your door is background-checked, identity-verified, and pre-announced by name and photo before the visit. That’s the Threshold Standard, and it’s how we’ve run jobs in Los Angeles since 2009. Here’s who you’ll actually meet.
Our People
Spencer Odell, Owner
Spencer started Hale Windows Los Angeles in 2009 after spending years watching window companies sell the wrong product for the wrong opening and then argue about it. He doesn’t argue. The 365-Day Done Right Promise exists because he got tired of hearing “that’s within spec” as an excuse. Spencer still walks job sites himself, and he’s been known to pull a rotted sill out of a frame mid-estimate just to show a homeowner what was actually happening behind the caulk. He quotes every job with a written price before work begins, and he stands behind it.
Marcus D., Lead Technician
Marcus has been with Hale for eleven years and has installed or serviced every brand we carry, from PGT impact windows in the hills to Therma-Tru front doors in West Adams. He’s the guy who can look at a 1960s aluminum slider and tell you within thirty seconds whether it’s worth repairing or past saving. Marcus holds manufacturer certifications through PGT and CGI, and he handles most of our trickiest retrofit work. On weekends he rebuilds vintage motorcycles, which explains why he’s weirdly calm about stripped screws and seized hardware.
Elena R., Senior Installer
Elena came to Hale from high-end residential finish carpentry, and it shows. She’s the person we send when a front door replacement needs to look flawless from both sides, inside and out. Elena specializes in ViewLux and ES Windows installations, and she’s certified for lead-safe work practices on older Los Angeles homes. She keeps a small notebook in her tool bag with measurements and notes from every job she’s ever done, which has settled more than one post-install question without a callback. She also bakes a serious pan dulce, which the crew does not share with the office.
Denise K., Service Coordinator
Denise is the voice on the phone when you call, and she has an almost unnatural ability to remember which homeowner on the schedule has a dog, a narrow stairwell, or a parking restriction. She’s been coordinating window repair and replacement schedules in Los Angeles for eight years. Before Hale, she worked dispatch for a commercial glazing company, so she understands lead times and material delays from the inside. When Marcus calls from a job site to say they found rot behind a frame, Denise is the one who rearranges the week and tells you exactly what it means for your schedule and your price.
Andre T., Apprentice Installer
Andre joined the crew two years ago after completing a building trades program, and he’s currently working toward his PGT installation certification under Marcus. He’s the one hauling the double-paned sashes up three flights of stairs in Silver Lake walk-ups and learning that old stucco hides surprises. Andre grew up in the San Fernando Valley and still lives there, which means he knows Los Angeles traffic patterns well enough to plan routes that make the parts actually arrive on time. He’s also the only person on the team who can talk Marcus into using the right safety gear without an argument.
One Standard, Every Job
The reason we introduce ourselves by name is simple. When you know who’s coming to your house before they arrive, and that person is background-checked, identity-verified, uniformed, photo-badged, and pre-announced by name and photo, the whole transaction changes. You’re not opening the door to a stranger. You’re opening it to Marcus, or Elena, or Andre, and they know you know their name. That’s the Threshold Standard, and it applies to every window replacement, window repair, or front door replacement we do in Los Angeles. It’s also why we put a written price in your hands before any work starts, and why every repair carries a written guarantee: if the repair fails, the second visit is free. The 365-Day Done Right Promise covers the rest. If it’s not done right, Hale makes it right, no argument needed.
We live and work in Los Angeles, from the Valley to the Westside to the communities east of downtown. We know what marine layer does to wood frames in the coastal neighborhoods, what Santa Ana winds do to old seals in the foothills, and what seventy-year-old stucco does to a standard installation plan. That’s not marketing copy. It’s just what happens when you’ve done this work in the same city for sixteen years and kept the same people on the crew for most of it.
Want a written price on your window or door project? Call (213) 269-5559. A live person answers, every time, and that person is usually Denise.
